How deposits, milestone payments, cancellations and refunds are handled.
Questions about this policy?
This policy explains how payments and refunds work for our services. The proposal or agreement for your project sets out the exact terms; where it differs from this page, the agreement applies.
Fixed-scope projects usually begin with a deposit, which reserves team time and covers discovery and planning. The deposit amount, and whether and when it is refundable, are stated in your proposal before you pay anything.
Further payments are due as agreed milestones are delivered. Milestone payments cover work already completed and are not refundable once that milestone has been accepted. If you raise a concern about a deliverable within the review period stated in your agreement, we will fix issues that fall within the agreed scope at no extra cost.
You may cancel a project by giving written notice, as set out in your agreement. You pay for work completed up to the cancellation date, and we refund any amount paid in advance for work not yet started, minus costs already committed on your behalf.
Monthly arrangements are billed in advance and can be cancelled with the notice period stated in your agreement, which also sets out whether unused hours carry over. Hours are not refundable once the month has started.
Hosting, domains, licences and paid APIs purchased for your project are subject to their providers’ own refund terms and are not refundable by us once purchased.
Contact us at tech@mcomlabs.com or +91 76651 11120 with your project name and the reason for the request. We will confirm we have received it, explain the next steps and how long they will take. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
